Smugly patting his coat pocket, Johnny knocked on DeSotos’ door. A scurry of little feet sounded on the other side. Seconds later, Roy’s little girl greeted him.
"Merry Christmas!" Jennifer shrieked, flinging herself into his arms.
"Merry Christmas, kiddo!" Johnny grinned, returning her hug.
