"C’mon, Johnny!" Roy yelled out. "We’ve gotta run!"

"I AM hurryin’!"

Roy started the engine just as his partner flew into the cab.

"What’s the rush anyway?!" Johnny grumped.

"We’re late! That’s what!"

"Grouch..."

When the two paramedics finally arrived at their destination, Captain Stanley met them at the door.

"You’re LATE!" Cap bellowed, then released a smirk: "You two look ridiculous!"

"WE look ridiculous?" Johnny snorted.

Together, the trio entered the Annual Children’s Benefit Costume Ball, which was already underway – Cap, dressed as Peter Pan’s ‘Captain Hook’; Roy, in his ‘Oscar the Grouch’ costume; and Johnny... as ‘Big Bird’.
