The challenge: I'm wondering if anyone out there could write a piece involving an argument between Doc Brackett and Cap. I have always seen the both of them very head-strong, bull-headed and unrelenting.

The Eternal Debate

“Ginger,” growled Captain Stanley.

“Mary Ann,” snarled Doctor Brackett.

“No, Ginger,” the head strong firefighter hissed between clenched teeth. “That titan red hair, that curvaceous figure, that sexy mole on her upper lip. Why any man worth his salt would be crazy for her!”

“Pah!” scoffed the bull headed physician. “That red hair comes out of a bottle and that mole is painted on. Mary Ann, on the other hand, is a natural beauty with fabulous legs and a killer smile!”

“Ginger!”

“Mary Ann!”

“No, Ginger!”

“Mary Ann, you jackass.”

“Ging ... Hey, Johnny! Settle an argument for us, would you?”

“Sure, Cap. What’s the deal?”

“Ginger or Mary Ann?”

“Well, Ginger’s got that titan red hair, curvaceous figure and sexy
mole.”

“Exactly!” cried Captain Stanley.

“And Mary Ann’s a natural beauty with fabulous legs and a killer smile”

“You know it!” exclaimed Doc Brackett.

“But I’m gonna have to go with the Professor! Have you seen the way his ass fills out those khaki pants?!”

“What the ...”

“Did you just say ...”

“Gee, look at the time! I gotta go!” Johnny beat a hasty retreat.

Brackett and Stanley exchanged a long, stunned look. And then ...

“So, Betty or Veronica?”

The End.
