What are your favorite  Mike, Marco and/or Chet scenes?

Audrey:

I love the scene where Chet gets Johnny going again on the tax audit thing by handing him an article on someone else getting into trouble on their taxes.

Also when Chet is listening to Ed Marlow go on about how wrong Roy and Johnny handle themselves on the job. You can tell Chet isn't buying a word of it. Another scene would be when he's trying to get Henry to go into the dog house and Chet has a bone in his mouth as he backs in. I love all the scenes with him in Snakebite when he's worried and helping to take care of Johnny.

Marco scenes would be when he loses his voice from he and Chet being stuck out on a lake with Johnny's girlfriend, when he rattles off names of relatives in 'Firehouse Quartet', and when he's at Rampart after being shocked and says he wishes it would have happened to someone else, like Johnny. Another, which is more a Marco/Chet scene is when the captain has them doing paperwork and they manage to mess it up. lol

Mike scenes. . .since he's so quiet and rarely the main part of scenes this is hard for me. I have to go by eps. My fav eps with Mike would be 'Snakebite', 'Great Crash Diet', 'The Mouse', 'Alley Cat', 'Family Ties'. I like Mike's character, just can't think of a whole scene that heavily involved him. :o)  Feel free, please, to send me reminders of his scenes. :o)

Ziggy:

One of my favorite Chet scenes is when he's the Phantom, setting up a waterbomb for Gage in the kitchen and Mike says "Hurry up, they're coming." and Chet answers, "The Phantom never panics." Then that whole scene when he stops Johnny from triggering the 'bomb' because the kid died and the Phantom doesn't strike when his pigeon is down. :)

Chet - When he's trying to teach Henry to go into the dog house and he ends up in there instead.

And a fave Mike scene is when Chet is obsessed with being healthy (The Great Crash Diet) and Mike says "Gurgle, gurgle, gurgle."

Also Mike in Inventions, when he and Marco are demonstrating their fan that puts out fires.

Plus Mike's "The best thing you can do is learn to live with it." to Roy in Family Ties; taking over the command after Hank was electrocuted in "The Great Crash Diet" and his pitching baseball. And at the end of "Hypochondri-Cap," all of them dressed in civvies (especially Marco! *whew!*) and Mike telling Hank "We took a vote." [Watch Mike's leg while they're waiting for Hank to come out of the locker room.]

I also love Marco in "The Mouse," when he tells Johnny and Roy he named Herbert. My friend said he sounded so proud of himself when he said that! :) In "Isolation," when he says, "Henry's giving him [Chet] sleeping lessons." His owie and the subsequent hospital scene in "Insanity Epidemic." "I'm fine, Doc, I just wish it had happened to somebody else, like him, for example."

I thought of another scene I love: Chet's practicing his pitching and Hank interrupts, telling Chet it's his turn to cook. Johnny and Chet argue with their captain, saying they can't chance Chet burning his fingers. Johnny suggests Mike and Marco taking over the cooking duties, to which they reply together, "Wrong!" I love that!!

Jill H.:

Mike - He doesn't have that many scenes, so I think my favorite has to be in Inventions, when he and Marco are demonstrating their fan that puts out fires.

Marco - When he gets zapped at the Gas Station. When he gets to go out with Daisy and tells the guys, "Either way, I'll never tell." LOL

Chet - When he's trying to teach Henry to go into the dog house and he ends up in there instead. When he's demonstrating his human fly shoes. When he's flirting with the red headed stripper. When he's sticking up for Roy and Johnny with Capt. Robertson.

Purry:

Inventions - Loved Mike and Marco's scenes. Chet and his suction cup shoes. Plus a bonus Johnny owie.

Trainee - When Chet is mad over what Ed Marlowe says about Johnny & Roy.

The Boat - Johnny tries to break a door down to get to the victim (a bookie) but couldn't, they use an ax to get in, and they all want to buy the boat together..

Isolation - Chet and Marco take Johnny's girlfriend out sailing as a favor to him..

Quicker Than the Eye - Crew plays pranks on Chet.

There is soooooo many more that I enjoyed.. Lets just say the whole series.. hehe

Vanessa Sgroi:

I like the pool scene in Dinner Date when they're all trying to get the little girl's arm out of the drain. I particularly like Chet with the little girl.

Two scenes from Insomnia: First, the one where they've all rigged the "cradle" for Johnny because he can't sleep. Second, I like when Chet puts his helmet on the little boy at the quarry.

I'm sittin' here watching the epi "Inferno" and it just occurred to me that some of the best bantering between Chet and Marco is in this epi. When they're talking about Roy's Eggs Lupin, and Marco's chili and eggs. And later when Roy and Johnny are cleaning out Chet's eyes at the brushfire. And the group of them talking at the end is a great ending.

Wanda C:

I can think of several Chet scenes: In "Messin Around" I love it when the phantom gets bombed with his own water bomb!

In "Snakebite" I love the way Chet comes to Johnny's rescue and the genuine concern that he has for his fellow firefighter.

In "The Mouse" I crack up every time when Chet has the trap finally set (with Roy's help) and tells Roy that he now has blood on his hands too...only to be caught by the trap himself.

In "The Boat", the ending scene is priceless as is Chet's expression when the guys figure out he let their plan "slip" to Charlie.

As for Marco, I love his scene in "The Mouse" when he thanks Chet for bringing the fridge to their attention. Also the fact the he names the mouse.

One scene that stands out with Mike is also in "The Mouse" when they are deciding who will be the one in charge of eliminating the problem and Cap mentions that we will see how the ball rolls. After Chet draws the short match in the beginning Mike just grins and says, "The ball didn't roll very far!" I also like the scenes in which he interacts with the guys during a rescue instead of manning the engine.
