What are the favorite activities of the characters of Emergency! when they are not working?

Hank: sailing and working on his wife's Edsel.
Marco: tin work (like his grandfather!); herb gardening.
Mike: building model cars,
fire trucks and planes; racing his dune
buggy at the beach.
Chet: thinking up new ways
to annoy Johnny; adding to his barbed
wire collection.
Roy: finding ways to get
Johnny to help him with his honey-do list;
taking the kids to the beach/park.
Johnny: running, horseback riding, camping, photography, and bowling.
Dixie: reading romance
novels and wishing one of those doctors she
works with would get a clue.
Joe: playing the piano,
reading (magazines), and thinking of a way to
ask Dixie out.
Kel: work, work, and more
work(!), catching up on the latest medical
journals, and wondering why Dix hasn't called him.
Mike M: boxing to stay in
shape, reading medical journals, and
wishing he had a really nice lady to take to the beach for a picnic!
Roy and Hank - taking their
families to various places when the kids
are not in school
Johnny - exercising to keep his body in shape.
Chet - loves to go to the night clubs and meet some women there;
enjoys watching the women ramble.
Marco - teaching a class how to cook his homemade chili; active in
Hispanic community
Mike - going out to beach and get tan
Johnny - photography
Chet - collecting his barbed wire
Roy - yard work
Hank - watching TV and relaxing on the couch
Mike - building models of fire engines
Johnny - hiking
Roy - Honey-to-do-list
Chet - fixing up his old car
Cap - a nap or de-stressing (he works with some twits)

Macro - making new recipes that his mother showed him to make
Brice - reading all the rule books

For Roy and Johnny I would say going camping, fishing, hiking, and horse back riding together
Chet loves going to night clubs looking for a date. either alone or with Marco.
Hank takes his wife to auctions and yard sales.
Johnny - camping and hiking
Roy - taking the family to Disneyland
Chet - reading up on new ways to get Johnny
Marco - trying out different chili recipes
Cap - sleeping in his back yard on his lounge chair with
a drink in one hand and the fly swatter in the other.
Mike - checking out new fire engines at a fire truck
show.
Johnny - Camping and bringing his camera to take photos.
Roy - Churning his way though the
honey-do list then puttering around
the yard.
Marco - He does volunteer work at his church.
Chet - He scours the local antique stores and farms for barbed wire.
Mike - He's restoring a '65 Mustang.
Hank - He grows roses. Tending them relax him.
Brackett - He likes to come in on his days off and work.
Dixie - Sailing.
Joe - Taking Dixie sailing. <g>
Morton - He likes to workout. He's thinking about taking up karate.
Brice - He reads manuals.
Johnny--not only photography, but
horseback riding and camping
Roy--going to an amusement park with his kids, where he can act like a kid
himself, much to Joanne's chagrin! :)
Mike--beaching it with his dune buggy, going to the fire museum to check out
those old engines
Chet--going out on the town, picking up girls
Marco--cooking and volunteering at an animal shelter (and trying hard not to
bring them all home with him!)
Hank--relaxing/sleeping in a hammock in his freshly mowed, landscaped and
weed-pulled backyard (the rest of the honey-do list can wait just a couple hours
longer....)
Joe--he moonlights on piano at a jazz club
Dixie--goes to same jazz club to enjoy the music
Brice--who said he reads the reg manuals?! Too perfect! :)
Johnny - Hangs out at the beach, looking for chicks
Roy - Spends time playing with his kids
Marco - Does volunteer work with underprivileged kids
Chet - Goes to Star Trek and Comic Book conventions
Mike - Tinkers with his Commodore 64
Cap - He has no free time, his wife keeps him busy with "projects"
Kel - Plays tennis and handball whenever he can
Joe - Restores vintage automobiles
Dixie - Loves to shop
