Each character from EMERGENCY! is going grocery shopping on a day off...what would be a few items
on a list for each one?
Cap - He'd buy the industrial size of Alka Seltzer and a
big bottle of
aspirin to bring to work.
Chet - He'd buy about 10 bags of flour. Not to eat. For his pigeon.
He's
also running up to the hardware store for a metal pail and some string.
Johnny - He'd get some potpies and TV dinners.
Roy - He'd buy a big pork roast for his wife to cook for dinner, and all
the fixings, and a boxed apple pie for dessert.
Marco - He'd buy the ingredients for his 7-layer dip and some tortilla
chips.
Mike - I can see him as a healthy eater. He'd get lots of veggies and
bottled water.
Johnny - Toilet paper. He's down to one roll and there's no way he's
going to use a grocery bag on that part of his anatomy again. A jar a
peanut butter too.
Chet - Freeze pops, cold cuts and bread.
Marco - He won't know until his Mama writes the list.
Roy - Joanne does all the grocery shopping. She made the mistake one
time of letting Roy and the kids do it. You can't live on junk food.
Cap - He's never grocery shopped before. His wife is particular about
what they eat and won't let his 'firemen's food tastes' ruin their
weight.
Mike - Roast beef, a 10 lb. bag of potatoes, and a pound of butter.
Brackett - He eats out half the time. The other half he eats TV dinners.
Dixie - Fresh chicken, broccoli and other assorted fruits and
vegetables.
Early - He eats whatever Dixie cooks him...don't let anyone in on that
secret.
Morton - Half the time he forgets to eat. His girlfriend that no one has
ever met nags him about eating better. He is a doctor after all.
Ziggy:
Marco - ingredients for whatever he's making for dinner (the
spicier, the
better), food/treats for his cats
Hank - aspirin (from the shift-long bickering between Chet and Johnny),
ingredients for clam chowder, oyster crackers
Mike - a box of Ho-hos (his favorite treat)
Johnny--hamburger
Chet - ingredients for butterscotch bean dip, chips

Johnny - the one with 3
flavors in it because he can't decide what flavor he wants.
Chet – would probably
have something like road kill ripple.
Hank - would have coffee

Marco - Rainbow Sherbet
Cap - Mint Chocolate Chip
Mike - Cherry Vanilla
Roy - Strawberry
Johnny - Butterscotch Ripple

Brice - Vanilla, because it's boring
like he is!
Johnny - Superman, because he is one!
Roy - Neopolitan. He think's because it has three flavors that it's more
exciting and a little WILD!
Marco –Orange Sherbert. Because it's refreshing to eat after his mama's
spicy cooking.
Mike - Black Cherry
Cap - Fudge Ripple
Chet - Butter Pecan, because it's a little nutty, like he is.
Dr. Morton - Chocolate Chip Chunk.
Dr. Brackett - Are you kidding? Too much ice-cream causes high
cholesterol. With the kind of stress he's under from running the ER, that's
heart attack city!
Dr. Early - He's a Praline Pecan kind of guy.
Dixie - She just mooches off of Dr. Early when he's eating his.
