How do you think each Emergency!  character would celebrate New Year's Eve/Day?

 

 

Audrey:

Dixie, Brackett and Early - a party with other staff members from Rampart held at a Dixie's apartment one year, another person's home another year.

 

Roy - A board game with his wife and kids until midnight, then the kids bang pans outdoors...they go to bed, then Roy and Joanne have a quiet hour alone before they go to sleep.

 

Johnny - A night at a party with a date he doesn't know real well.

 

Chet - A night on the town, sometimes the same place as Johnny, also with a date he doesn't know very well. Or a poker game.

 

Marco - He spends it with his family at a party at his mom's house.

 

Mike - A quiet night with the woman in his life.

 

Hank -  He and his wife double date with friends, and they go out to eat, then dancing until midnight.

 

 

 

  

 

 

 Jill:

Hank - He and his wife have a few friends over and play cards and watch Guy Lombardo.  New Years Day is football heaven for Cap.

Chet - usually throws a party at his place for all his single friends and their dates.  Marco usually comes to this party, and Johnny too, if he can wrangle a date.

Roy - The DeSoto family usually does some kind of game marathon with the kids, complete with Jiffy Pop and chip and dip.  At Midnight, they watch the ball drop in Time Square and (if the kids have made it that far LOL) they go out and honk the horns and blow noisemakers.  New Years Day the kids and Joanne watch the Rose Parade, then turn the TV over to Roy for football.

Johnny - More times than not, his dates flakes on him and he skips Chet's party and ends up at the DeSoto's for a round of Monopoly or Aggravation.  Having a heavy hand in the Egg Nog, he sleeps on Roy's couch until the Rose Parade wakes him up.  A little hung over, he spends the next couple of hours being amazed at how pretty the floats look when they're all fuzzy.

Mike - A romantic at heart, Mike usually gets a babysitter and takes his wife out for dinner and dancing at fun places like the Queen Mary.  At midnight they spend a few quiet moments kissing, then head home to the kids.

New Years Day - The guys usually rotate whose house they use, but they traditionally get together for the Rose Bowl Game.

 

  

 

Esteepinky:

Capt Stanley - He and his wife go to the New Year's Eve party with Roy and Joanne DeSoto.

Roy - He and Joanne join Capt Stanley and his wife to attend the New Year's Eve party.

Johnny - He babysits his partner Roy's 2 kids at DeSoto's while the DeSoto couple attend the party.

Chet - He invites his date to celebrate the New Year and offers her a special romance at his apartment.

Mike and Marco - They attend the New Year's Eve party at Marco's sister's house.

 Kel and Dix - They celebrate the New Year's Eve alone at Dix's place.

Joe and Dr. Morton - They have to work at Rampart on that day due to the short staff.
