What songs when you hear them remind you of the characters from  Emergency!?

*Question courtesy of Amanda

Audrey:

Johnny - *Johnny Angel*

Roy - Happy Trails (By Roy Rogers)

Chet - The music to 'The Merry-go-Round Broke Down' (sounds like a
Looney Tunes theme)

The song 'The Dance" reminds me of them all since it was put to the
Emergency Music Video that someone did.

Also "Lean On Me"

Ziggy:

"Holding Out for a Hero" is one. When I hear the theme from the Pink
Panther, I think of The Phantom. :)

Also, "You've Got a Friend" and "He Ain't Heavy, He's My
Brother."

Amanda:

I'm not sure why but when I hear the song LA Bamba I picture Marco on a stage singing it and when I hear the song Mack The Knife I picture Johnny on that stage either before or after Marco singing that song!

I picture Johnny singing that song to either Dr. Brackett or Dr. Early. I'm not sure why . . . maybe because they are both surgeons!

I also think of Johnny when I hear the song Johnny Angel but I also think of him when I hear the song Johnny B. Goode!

Some other GREAT songs that remind me of them are " He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother ", " You've Got A Friend" and "Wind Beneath My Wings"

Angie:

One song that has reminded me of E! since the first time I heard it is "A Friend To Me" by Garth Brooks. It just fits!

A Friend To Me
By Garth Brooks

Well you and I
We're buddies
And we've been since we first met
Me any you
Well we've sure been through
Our share of laughter and regret
Lord knows we've had our bad days
And more than once we've disagreed
But you've always been a friend to me
You can be so stubborn
There's times I think you just like to fight
And I hope and pray
I live to see a day
When you say I might be right

And there's times I'd rather kill you
Than listen to your honesty
But you've always been a friend to me
You've always been
Time and again
The one to take my hand
And show to me it's okay to be
Just the way I am
With no apology
Oh you've always been
And you will 'till God knows when
Yes you've always been a friend to me

Becca:

I saw an E! slide show that was done to the Garth Brooks song "The Change",
which was originally a tribute to the rescue workers from the Oklahoma City
bombing. I had never heard the song before but it is a beautiful song and I
am reprinting the words here for your reference. Think of them in terms of
some of the tough E! rescues, like the one where Johnny and Roy save the two
little boys in the flooded sewer.

"The Change"
By Garth Brooks

One hand
Reaches out
And pulls a lost soul from harm,
While a thousand more
Go unspoken for.
And they say what good have you done
By saving just this one?
It's like whispering a prayer
In the fury of a storm ...

And I hear them saying you'll never change things,
And no matter what you do it's still the same thing,
But it's not the world that I am changing,
I do this so the world will know
That it will not change me.

This heart
Still believes
That love and mercy still exist,
While all the hatreds rage and so many say
That love is all but pointless in madness such as this,
It's like trying to stop a fire
With the moisture from a kiss ...

And I hear them saying you'll never change things,
And no matter what you do it's still the same thing,
But it's not the world that I am changing,
I do this so the world will know
That it will not change me.

As long as one heart still holds on
Then hope is never really gone ...

And I hear them saying you'll never change things,
And no matter what you do it's still the same thing,
But it's not the world that I am changing,
I do this so the world we know
Never changes me.

What I do is so
This world will know
That it will not change me.

Charmi:

If we're gonna do Garth Brooks songs (and I sure do love 'em all), there is one for the whole crew that comes to mind both through the words to the song and even just the visual of the title...

'Standing Outside the Fire'

Perfect, Charmi. I always think of Da Guys when I hear this song.
