Wild fires are raging in Ventura County. Johnny and Roy are sent north to offer assistance, and to prove to a gruff fire chief that paramedics are much more than glorified ambulance attendants. By the time the two men return to Los Angeles ten long and trying days later, they will have proven the value of the paramedic program, and as well, the value of friendship.
