Our passion was renewed
Hoping with all hope it would survive
Not knowing what was forthcoming
Never again taking it for granted
Yesterday was just a stepping stone to the future
Giving to each other our undying affection
As we head into the unknown
Graced by the fact we have each other
Everyday reflecting on what we could have lost

Confined in such a tight
space;
How did I end up in this dark, smokey place?
Excruciating pain shoots through my head;
Trying to move, man, I feel like lead!
Keenly listening for some sort of sound;
Embraced with the hope, that I'll soon be found.
Lying in darkness, I feel like I'm blind;
Ludicrous thoughts, keep entering my mind.
Yet, I am praying, on the cold ground where I'm laying.

Jumping up high, I shoot for
the hoop
Outside, the game's played, by the whole group.
Horse is its name, a fun basketball game;
Notoriously scoring, I make the others look boring.
Nothing they say will ruin my mood,
Yapping away, I go look for some food.
Gratification is now what I seek,
An empty stomache is just too bleak!
Grabbing an apple, I start to munch;
Eating with vigor, my snack before lunch.
