Station 127  (Station 51) Today

Pam called ahead to see if they could get a tour of the station. . .

She found that the firemen of Station 127 more than welcome visitors!

A familiar sight. . .

Still looks the same, huh?

HOME OF THE SHOW

Speaks volumes on how Emergency! has held its

place in everyone's memories

The chairs look more comfortable!

Pam knew exactly which bed was  *Johnny's*

 and which was *Roy's*!

The captain sleeps in his own bedroom now,

and has his own bathroom.

The bench is out of place,

but the rest is the same.

Pam outside behind the station.

Just imagine Johnny coming out the back to see the new engine

in the episode *The Old Engine*

Pam's story on seeing the station. . .

As soon as we turned the corner on the street where it's located I screamed, "That's
it!"  It is EXACTLY the same!  The Captain and his engine crew were out on a
run but the four ladder boys were there, and two of them gave us the tour.
We went around the entire station and it is virtually identical to how it
looked when the show was filmed, right down to the parking area out back!  I
was walking around the station, pointing out which locker was Johnny's,
where Johnny and Roy slept, where Roy and Johnny parked, etc.  Scot told me
that the FF's kept looking at me with a mixed look like they were impressed,
while at the same time being a little freaked out by how much I knew about the show!

Of course, Scot had to help matters by asking them if they'd close the house
door, give us time to run across the street, then they could open the door
and drive the ladder truck out with the sirens on so we could get it on
video!  They declined!
