If the characters from
Emergency! were colors, what colors would they be?
*Idea courtesy of
Chet's Pet
Johnny - Red (stands out and
exciting)
Roy - Blue (calming, unless Johnny has an owie, then we would have to change
colors)
Captain Stanley - Silver (hard, yet touchable)
Chet - Lime (reminds me of fun)
Mike - Purple (there but not flashy)
Marco - Beige (blends in)
Dr. Brackett - Yellow (excitable, yet calming)
Dixie - Aqua (cheerful and caring)
Morton - Brown (drab)
Dr Early - Green (soothing)
Henry - Gray (doesn't care on way or the other)
Brice - Black and White (no gray areas for the perfect paramedic)
Chet: Blue because this is my favorite color and he is my favorite character. Blue is a deep color and can indicate many different moods and attitudes, just like Chet. But it can also be unpredictable like Chet, too and mischievous.
Marco: Red because he is a hot blooded Mexican who is handsome and shy.
Roy: Green because he is very family oriented, thus needs to think about money,
which he does. Green is also a color of warmth and caring, which Roy definitely
is.
Johnny: Pink, not for any slashy reason, but because it is a gentle sensitive
color, just like he is. Plus pink is usually what he turns when embarrassed.
Hank: Orange for bravery and courage which Hank (and all of the guys) has 100
fold.
Mike: Grey for blending in, but always knowing what is going on, to the constant
amazing of everyone else.
Dr. Brackett: Red for his volatile temper and tendency to blow up at patients
and coworkers, because he cares so much, sometimes too much.
Dr. Early: Purple because he is truly the fountainhead (king) of the Rampart
gang, while Kel is the prime minister. Also cause he quietly commands, while
letting the others think they are leading.
Dr. Morton: Black because of his bad bedside manner and poor people skills. Plus
he usually seems angry, yet has deep feelings of guilt which he tries,
unsuccessfully, to hide.
Dixie: Red for the red cross associated with medicine and nursing and for all
the blood and gore she has dealt with as head nurse in ER and in Korea.
Captain Stanley...gold (He's the leader and as
precious as gold.)
Mike....fire engine red (I have to associate Mike with Big Red, so this is a
natural.)
Marco....orange (I see Marco as festive, and orange seems to be prominent in the
Latino community as well.)
Chet...sunshine yellow (Chet brightens up the day with his sense of humor.)
Roy....Christmas green (Green is supposed to be a very calming color, so it fits
Roy.)
Johnny...royal blue (Johnny is bright and this is a "feel good" color, so I
think it's appropriate.)
Brice....gray (blah)
Dixie...hot pink (A lady all the way, with a bit of spice added.)
Brackett....purple (In some cultures a symbol of power. Given his role at
Rampart, I'll go with this.)
Early....peach (A color that is non-threatening, yet very positive with lots of
other colors.)
Morton...beige (A neutral color because I get the feeling in lots of eps that
he's still "finding his way.")
Hank: grey
Mike: red, like his beloved engine :)
Roy: yellow
Marco: dark green
Chet: orange
Johnny: blue, like a peaceful summer sky
Dixie: apricot
Brackett: lime green
Early: purple
Morton: red
Captain Stanley - Indigo (dignity, tranquility,
trustworthiness)
Mike - Orange (stands for fire & flames, lust, vigor, excitement, and
wholesomeness)
Chet - Yellow (cheerful, but can become irritating)
Marco - Blue (calming)
Roy - Green (peaceful)
Johnny - Red (vibrant, known to escalate the body's metabolism)
Dr. Brackett - Purple (wisdom, power, visionary leadership)
Dixie - Pink (fidelity, friendship, compassion, faithfulness)
Dr. Early - Light Brown (genuineness)
Dr. Morton - Gray (neutrality)
Johnny - bright blue. (not sure why, exactly, but it
seems to fit him).
Roy - beige - even tempered and calm (usually, except when the bright blue one
drives him nuts or buys a house out from under him. lol)
Chet - purple - somehow makes me think of lurking in the shadows, like his
*phantom* alter ego. lol
Marco - Orange - Always happy
Mike - Grey - in the background a lot and quiet
Captain Stanley - Gold - for a quality leadership of his men
