January 7th , the Christmas tree is still up. Last year it was up till January 7th with the hopes that good luck would be fall upon one hapless paramedic.  January 6th was the allotted time for such luck.

Thinking back on the last 365 days, did the extra time buy that good luck or was it a false sense of self preservation that keep tannenbaum around long past it’s spirit again this year, just to be on the safe side.

Sighing, Roy began un-decorating the Christmas of ‘75 Christmas tree and pondered about the 50% drop in Johnny owies.
