It was Monday morning, the day after Father's Day. The A-Shift crew of Station 51 sat around the kitchen table drinking coffee and enjoying the donuts Marco Lopez had brought.

"Hey, Cap, what did you get for Father's Day?" Mike Stoker asked.

"Well, let's see. I got a loaf of French bread, ham, salami and Provolone, some Swiss cheese. A bit of lettuce and sliced tomatoes. Onions, pickles, olives, hot peppers and mayonnaise," Hank replied.

"Cap?" Chet Kelly questioned.

"Yes?"

"Uh...Isn't that the makings for a submarine?"

"Nope!"

"Cap? You sure?"

"Yep!"

"Then…"

"It was a hero sandwich," Hank smiled.
